What is this?
This week campers gain knowledge of how the earth, its atmosphere and our solar system work and a chance to learn about our day and night sky. Specific time will be taken to educate campers with our universe, galaxy, radar, telescopes, constellations and navigating using the stars. CANSail 1 & 2 This introductory program is for those looking to dip their toes into the sport of sailing with no experience required, all while keeping fun as the main focus. Beginner sailors build a strong foundation of sailing skills, both technical and practical, such as sail trim and teamwork. Instructors place the sailors in boats best suited to their size and ability, while gradually introducing new concepts to improve their sailing experience and skill.
