Day Camp - Week 2, July 11-15: Inspirations of the Bay (art)
Details:
This week campers will stimulate their senses by participating in activities that bring their
creativity to life, drawing inspiration from their surroundings. A variety of mediums will be used
to realize the elements of art, become familiar with several artists, build techniques and develop
a sense of confidence through the artistic merit found in their work.

Leadership Course - Bronze Medallion & Emergency First Aid and CPR level B - July 11-22, 2:30-5:30pm
Details:
Bronze Medallion challenges the candidate both mentally and physically. Judgment, knowledge, skill, and fitness — the four components of water rescue — form the basis of Bronze Medallion training. Candidates acquire the assessment and problem-solving skills needed to make good decisions in, on, and around the water. Bronze Medallion is a prerequisite for assistant lifeguard training in Bronze Cross.
Prerequisite: Minimum 13 years of age or Bronze Star certification (need not be current).
Required reference material: Canadian Lifesaving Manual. Bronze Medallion Workbook recommended.
Both can be bought via our website ahead of time, or via the LifeSaving Society website.
