This week campers will spend their time developing strokes, challenge their fitness level (with distance swims and carrying objects), learning some first aid and basic waterfront survival skills, knot tying, boat and water safety, and basic water and weather knowledge.
CANSail 1 & 2
This introductory program is for those looking to dip their toes into the sport of sailing with no experience required, all while keeping fun as the main focus. Beginner sailors build a strong foundation of sailing skills, both technical and practical, such as sail trim and teamwork. Instructors place the sailors in boats best suited to their size and ability, while gradually introducing new concepts to improve their sailing experience and skill.

Programming for Know Your Roots Camp (KYR) is all in the name. It’s a week of exploring where our food comes from, the journey it takes from plough to plate – as well as the role we play as individuals in our food system. Campers will have opportunities to explore our gardens, engage in food focused activities and, of course, try some new and delicious foods!
